How to Chop Large Content into Smaller Pieces for Your Online Business

September 17, 2010 By: Yvonne A Jones Category: Business - Entrepreneur, Business - Home-Based Business

Welcome to my literary kitchen where we will look at ways to  chop the material on your hard drive.  If you've been in business online for six months or more you likely have downloaded several ebooks, many of which come with Private Label Rights (PLR).  You may have also  downloaded rebrandable reports and ebooks.

As a result of the above you likely have a well-stocked literary cupboard from which you can collect material to proceed with the first of two steps – the chopping process.  Just as you chop your herbs to enhance their flavor in the meal preparation and slice your vegetables to serve them more attractively , you can chop and slice the material you have into several pieces to make smaller articles, which you can use in different ways.

  • You can use the material from an e-book to load into your autoresponder series, providing you with content for one month or up to one year.
  • You can create content for several articles in a series
  • You can use the content to create several videos and audio recordings.
  • If you already have audio recordings that are 60 to 90 minutes in length, you can chop these recordings into smaller segments and can send these to your subscribers.
  • Many of us are still using just text in our autoresponder series.  By sending subscribers information in different formats, it will give our subscribers options to receive our information.  Secondly, they will be able to hear your voice or see you in video recordings and get to know you even better.  The relationship will be even stronger.

So the key tasks in my literary kitchen for today are:

1) Take the information you have in lengthy forms, chop or slice these into smaller pieces.

2) Use these in articles for your blog, autoresponder series; and shorter video and audio recording segments.

Don't have a lot of content on your hard drive?  This site offers you a free membership that allows you to download lots of PLR products and products with Resale Rights every week.  It is one of the best membership sites that offers a free membership where you can download quality products.

Good ideas for emails. Sometimes I think marketers forget that having good content in you emails is a way to get your emails opened….and a good way to build the relationships needed to make sales.

  4. Email marketing is definitely an essential part of doing business because this is the best way to cultivate the relationship with our subscribers. I’ve been guilty in the past of not communicating with my list for long periods and when I resume they forgot that they’d ever subscribed so, regular, valuable content is definitely very important.
