In my previous post the importance of your keyword as the main ingredient of your article was emphasized, as well as using long tail keywords to reach your target market.

It took me quite some time hearing the same thing several times to understand how valuable it is to use keywords.  Implementing some of these strategies has resulted in my articles being reprinted in different places, based on the Google alerts I receive.

Internet Marketing For Beginners – What Is FTP and How Do I Do It?

When I first came online in 2008 there were so many things I did not understand and there was no one in my circle offline I could ask.   I remember in the very first class I took online the instructor told us we could copy his example and use his page on our own websites.  That was wonderful!  But how could I get the information from his computer to show up on my website?  This is done by a process called File Transfer Protocol (FTP), but I did not know the name, what it is, or how to do it.

I was so frustrated because in response to my question, I was told just to go ahead and “copy and upload it.”  Upload it? How?

If you are new to internet marketing or recently started a business online, do not be intimidated by the process. It really is pretty easy when you know how to use File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to transfer files from your computer to your websites.  I've found that Chris Farrell explains how to do this very clearly in this video.  Enjoy and please feel free to leave a comment below.
